Free evening events - suggestions

We have had great success with our various evening events that we’ve held at the shop. 
For anyone who has already attended you’ll know they are very relaxed, lots of ladies come on their own and
we have an informal and fun time over a glass of champers.
Geraldine and Kate are always here to provide bra fitting for anyone who needs a re-fit or advice.
Our evenings are open to everyone and their friends, whether or not they have had surgery.
We usually cater for about 12 ladies on an evening,  so places are limited and its worth letting us know if you
are interested as soon as possible. (If we have a lot of enquiries we can arange to have a specific night repeated so no one misses out !)

• Style advice / colours / make up demo

 ‘Style 92’  (style and fashion consultants / make up artist)  have previously hosted a fantastic
night where ladies could have mini make-up demos and helpful hints about accessories and
general style advice.

• Living with lymphoedema  (lymphoedema specialist nurse)

Expert advice regarding any general concerns ar questions regarding lymphoedema

• Therapy taster sessions (hosted by our therapist Sue)

Sue will be on hand to discuss all of the therapies we offer and to explain about the wonderful
benefits of holistic treatments - followed by 10 minute taster sessions.

• Prosthesis advice and fitting   (professional breast form fitter)

Ask our expert any questions you have about your prosthesis or the different types available.

• Breast cancer care uk lingerie evening  (hosted by Breast Cancer Care uk)

• Christmas wish list evening

A great way to solve the problem of  ‘what to buy you for Xmas’
Pop in and have a look at our range and we can make a note of all styles / sizes that you would like a
family member or friend to secretly get you for Xmas.

Great news - award finalists . . . We are very proud to announce that we have been voted finalists for two fantastic industry awards, so keep fingers crossed and wish us luck.  Thanks again for all of your support and loyalty.

We are pleased to announce that Breast Cancer Care are hosting a lingerie evening on 2 December 2008 at our shop for women who have undergone breast surgery.

The evening is designed to provide practical support and advice in a relaxed environment. There will also be an opportunity for you to buy lingerie on the night.

The evening will include:

• Introduction to breast cancer care services
• Lingerie presentation from Betty and Belle
• Lingerie fittings
• Complementary therapy taster sessions
• Light refreshments

Geraldine is delighted to be speaking on specialist lingerie fitting at the Genesis Appeal ladies lunch

We are pleased to announce that the Genesis Appeal are organising a special ladies event at Harvey Nichols Restaurant on Wednesday 10th October at 12.00p.m. After lunch Geraldine will be speaking about specialist lingerie fitting.

They would be delighted if ladies from around the region would join together to enjoy a 3 course meal, devised specially for Genesis by Harvey Nichols. It will be a fantastic day and tickets are selling fast so make sure you don’t miss out!!!

Tickets cost £30 per person.

Spending over an hour with some women, the whole service is about making the customer feel at ease. Everyone is offered a drink in the upstairs seating area while suitable bras are found. Many also take advantage of the therapies in the treatment room, courtesy of Macmillan volunteers Sue, and a second Kate.
