The Best Lingerie Shop in the UK - Betty and Belle !!

Betty and Belle is now officially recognised as being the Best Lingerie Shop in the UK.  In November 2011 we received the award for being the "Best Lingerie Shop for Excellence & Customer Service".  The award was presented by Lingerie Buyer Magazine in conjunction with Stars Underlines Best Shop Awards.

This recognition is a great reward for all of my team ast the shop, and the time we spend trying to help ladies look and feel their best.

Betty and Belle specialise in fitting women who are traditionally difficult to fit.  This includes big back, and big cup sizes as well as mastectomy bras, and more traditional areas such as bridal lingerie and maternity bras. 

Betty and Belle is owned by Geraldine Hurd, one of this countries most experienced bra fitters. Geraldine, a lingerie designer by background, first got interested in bra fitting having discussed the issue while working as a volunteer for Macmillan Cancer Support.

After 11 months of intense research into the market place, Betty & Belle opened its doors in Altrincham, and quickly gained popularity - due in no small part to the way in which Geraldine went about establishing links with the local breast care nurses and breast cancer support groups, taking onboard their advice to provide an all-round aftercare service.

From listening to our customers we realized there was a gap in the market for a traditional personalised bra fitting service, for women who just want a good fitting bra in their correct size. Betty and Belle now provide a wide range of non wire, large cup and small cup ranges alongside their post surgery bras.

I do also operate a separate web business for breast forms  (www.mastectomy-bras-online) and have just started a webshops for ladies shapewear and  thermal underwear.
